So anyway...
taking absolutely nothing from an A&M team that came to play the game of football, if we show up in our pajamas again against a conference foe (any conference opponent) we can expect to spend some time picking up our teeth. Marshall and La Tech ain't the only things that go bump in the night. With dragons, and the way we're all playing this year, CUSA is both literally and figuratively Conference Kaiju!

I am super glad we have a week off because we have a ton of stuff to work on. And special teams needs to realize and adjust because Hunter is Clark Kent and will out-kick the coverage again if he feels we're getting pushed.

2-1, 0-0 in conference play. One day at a time, sweet Jesus.

Our coach ain't going anywhere, and hotel reservations can wait. We have a lot of work to do yet.

Go Blazers!04-rock

Yes I am now much more concerned about conference play than I was before yesterday's game. Maybe I needed to be brought back down to earth for my own sake.

Maybe it was good for this team to be reminded that they could lose a bunch of conference games, especially if they string a few quarters together like the first quarter we had yesterday.

Maybe Troy really is not any good at all and I should stop putting so much stock in that victory.

The good news is we get a bye week and then FIU. And maybe AAMU isn't on our level and Troy is bad, but we handled them like a top tier team would. We didn't just win we blew them out. That's very encouraging imo. I see no reason we wouldn't be 3-1 in two weeks.

I am willing to bet that we were looking ahead because A&M is FCS. I think they will be ready in a couple of weeks.
