Hope you guys enjoy Northwest Arkansas...It's a beautiful place and even better place to live.

If any of you are staying the entire weekend, let me make a few recommendations for you.

Try to get a sandwich from Green Submarine on Wedington. You'll never want Subway again. They're closed Sundays. So hit it up Friday evening or Saturday for an early lunch.

If you like Burgers, Hugo's just off the square is great. It's underground, but their is a neon sign showing where to go. It's pretty neat place and great burgers.

George's is a good spot on College. I like their steaks. Doe's on Dickson has a nice steak as well.

If you like southern fried catfish, hush puppies, cole slaw, homemade fries, then hit up The Catfish Hole on Wedington. It's definitely not where you want to go on a date, but the food is good and it's also our spot for Coach B's radio show and hosting all of our football recruits when they visit. Ask for the honey butter to dip your hush puppies in. You'll thank me later. Also, as odd as this may sound, Pat's steaks are the best I've had since I've lived in NWA. No lie. Again, you'll thank me later.

If you're staying in North NWA maybe around Rogers or Springdale, visit SAMs Five and dime. That's where it all started. Also, Daisy BB guns has a museum there. Yep, we are home to those "shoot your eye out" machines.

Hit up Dickson Street Friday night or Saturday before the game. Micro Brews have been popping up here like crazy. So, if you like different beers, check those out.

You guys will enjoy NWA. Just know, if you're flying in, you're going to be landing in BFE. No kidding. You might hear banjos where XNA is located. No fear though, the closer you get to one of the fastest growing areas in the nation, you'll be impressed.

Safe travels to you all.

Oh, one other thing....if just parking, plenty of spots behind sorority row if you're early enough. Also, Razorback Road will be shut down about 4 hours prior to game time UNLESS you have a parking pass....So just know that for those of you heading to Pratt Place. Go well before that time and you'll be fine.

Do you need to get a Pratt's place permit before the game? Heading down to the White river after the game to fish for a couple of days.

Other Hogs fans have posted the spots to park/tailgate/dining, so I won't reiterate, just second their recommendations... except to also mention there are neighborhoods NW of the stadium you can park/hang out. (Google Maps = Cleveland St + Osage Bend).

But, expect to pay $20/$40 for a spot in a yard, depending on how close you get. An easy walk downhill, but a climb uphill after the game. We have shown up 1 hour before, got a spot at that intersection for $20. But, we didn't have elderly folks with us - no shuttles run in those neighborhoods.

Once on campus, beer/etc has to be in a cup (Solo/styrofoam). And, they're pretty adamant a/b their no smoking policy, for you smokers.

Safe Travels! If any Hog Fans are unpleasant, let us know and we will certainly blast them on our Boards/Radio/Twitter.

I'm not sure if you need a pass before hand, you may be able to just drive up and pay there, but I would assume that you need cash if you do that.
