RE: Week 3: Rank the AAC
1. ECU - We beat a ranked VT and the Refs on the road. We were clearly the better team and that game could have easily gotten out of hand if it wasnt for terribly bias refing and some poor calls and blow oppurtunities by us. I think USC proved they are a legit top 10 team. We hung with them and had a solid chance at beating them.
2. Cincy - Admittedly I haven't seen them play yet but the box score looked good.
3. Memphis - Again, havent seen them play but the box scores looked pretty impressive. Ive watch all the other teams and haven't been too impressed.
4. UCF - UCF isn't who I thought they were. Being in philly with a large group of PSU friends I follow the team more than the average football fan. They arent that good this year. I think Temple has a legit shot at them. They will probably finish middle of the pack in their conference
5. Houston - Hung with a solid BYU. Their offense was really hyped up this preseason but i'm not buying it. Saw a lot of poor throws and drops. Still think they're pretty good though
6. Temple - Honestly Vandy sucks. I think too many fans here are putting too much weight into that game. They looked decent versus Navy. I think they are bowl bound this year and finish middle of the pack AAC
Suckage begins blow here:
7. Tulane - I know Tulsa beat them but Tulsa looked awful yesterday. Won't make a bowl.
8. USF - Not a very good team. Got crushed by a terrible NCST team, hung with maryland though.
9. Tulsa - Beat tulane but tulane isnt very good. Go crossed by a bad Cusa team.
10. Uconn - They are aweful and will be lucky to win another game this season
11. SMU - quite possibly the worst team in FBS. It may be because the team had given on up June though. I would be surprised if they got a win this season. The season finale versus uconn may determine which team gets a AAC win

RE: Week 3: Rank the AAC
1. ECU - No questions here. Big win and a close loss to South Carolina.
2. Cincinnati - Still not 100% sure, but they look very solid.
3. Memphis - Close loss to an overrated UCLA team
4. UCF - Two P5 losses to teams that are 6-0 combined
5. Temple - Look decent, but haven't played any decent teams
6. Houston - Might be able to turn it around
7. Tulane
8. UCONN
9. Tulsa
10. USF
11. SMU - Looking like they won't get a win this year

1. ECU (Only AAC team so far to beat a ranked P5 opponent)
2. UCF (Battle tested after playing two P5 opponents that are a combined 6-0)
3. Cincy (Beat up on a 1-2 MAC opponent that has allowed 127 points in 3 games)
4. Houston (Not a bad showing against a solid BYU team)
5. Memphis (Still have them riding high after the UCLA showing)
6. Temple (Need to see more but better than the rest of the league)
7. Tulane (Would've liked more separation against SE Louisiana)
8. UConn (Actually not too bad of a showing against Boise State)
9. SMU (You know this league is bad when you improve after a bye)
10. South Florida (Blown out by the worst NC State team in years)
11. Tulsa (Crushed by FAU? Come on, man.)
When I told you people last year ECU was going to take this Conference over and possibly keep it at her helm for the next few years i wasn't lying. Ruffin knows how to recruit, when Shane Carden leaves there is another QB just as good who gels with our up tempo offense.
At ECU the style of play doesn't adjust to the QB, the QB adjusts to the style of play.
Expect Kurt Benkert to start play midway through the conference play. He will step in and throw on blow out games.
So, let me get this straight. ECU has yet to play a game in the AAC yet you are proclaiming ECU is going to take over the conference and run it for the next few years?
Hubris much? If, and that's a big IF, you win at UC this year, then you can start to talk about winning the conference. Until then, I'd temper your expectations.

We will see who's better Gunner Kiel or Shane Carden.
I will admit Kiel looks like up and coming QB. I will tell you this, without Carden our team is lost and pretty much an aim less armada.
Our D is damn good, We won yesterday because of our D and not Offense. Cinncy besides the new QB what do you have thats changed from last years bowl game.
Watch how ECU handles UNC next week. Pirate nation has been waiting for opportunities like this for 20 years. Prime time TV slots, Big opponents. Bring em...

1. Memphis - Almost beat UCLA. (best in conference through week 3)
2. ECU - barely escaped a terrible Va. Tech Team.
3. Cincy - Barely beat a crappy MAC team.
4. UCF - played ugly against 2 P5 teams.
5. Temple - beat a crappy SEC team that almost lost to UMASS
6. Houston - didn't get beat nearly as bad by BYU compared to Texas.
7. UCONN - Looked like they could compete against a bad Boise St. team for 3 quarters
8. USF - Got smacked by a down trodden ACC team at home
9. Tulane - Beat a bad South east western Louisiana state university team.
10. Tulsa - Poned by a poor FAU team
11. SMU - At least they fired June

No kidding. Don't get me wrong, though, as I love the confidence from the ECU fans. In my field of work, this type of confidence is encouraged. But ECU hasn't been to any sort of championship in over 6 seasons and that was in a C-USA that was significantly watered down in 2013. It was literally ECU's for the taking and their defense let them down as it has multiple times since Ruffin McNeill took over as coach.
I love what you're doing with your OOC opponents as it helps the conference and in turn, helps UCF. But you're 0-0 in a league where 7 teams not named ECU have made a championship game or won a championship since the last time ECU sniffed theirs.
Let's settle down and play a league game first before crowning yourself the champs.

Barely beat crappy MAC team???? We won by 24 points and were leading 41-7 in the first half!!!! BTW Toledo will easily win 7 or 8 games...I only see 3 AAC teams winning that many!!!!!!!
