I love how Scarbinsky essentially plagiarized another media outlet for this piece.

Alabama's response will be to pay FIU and North Texas even more money to play when the next slots come open in their schedule.

Well, he's AnimeBlazer, not LiterateBlazer.

I'm sure he would communicate better in pictures rather than words.

Why woukd UAB and UA want to play each other? UAB needs the money from going to other schools. Being in the same system of schools, I doubt UA would pay UAB to visit.

If the argument is against giving money to other CUSA teams I can understand that, but I don't see a benefit in playing each other.

Dude stop towing the line. It's a matter of principle... the two schools do not play each other in the 2 revenue sports why.......we all know the answer to that....well except you.04-chairshot

….and the horse they rode in on. All I ever want from UAT is for UAB to be left alone to decide and do what's best for UAB.

The almighty crimson slime has shunned UAB basketball and football for 36 years. What else is new.

Not towing any line here. There's no reason for these schools to play each other.

Are you a troll or just stupid? Those are the only two options, I'll let you pick which one you'd prefer to be called.

Aww, you're mad someone disagrees with you. How cute.

UAB needs an on campus stadium but there is literally no reason we should want to play Alabama in football. What benefit would uab gain from sucha matchup? Even a game at Legion Field would be a Bama home game.

I really want to know how you guys think UAB could benefit from a game with UA.

As an Alabama fan, I WANT to play UAB, and even South Alabama and Troy.

Even if money isn't transferred. In that case, Bama would save money, UAB would get more exposure. If we lost, we would at least help hype up some of the other in-state schools. Could help recruiting for those guys too. 'I can't play at Alabama? Well, might as well play against them." Not everyone can go to the SEC, so it couldn't hurt.

Look guy....the issue is not UAB wanting to play UA, its the fact that UA has at every turn tried to suppress UAB athletics at every turn when it comes to football and basketball. I would suggest learning some history before spouting off about UAB and UA. We need the BOT to butt out and we'll be fine!
