32,007 for the crowd though

Is that a record, or did it fall short of the crowd at the Tech game?

2nd highest attendance for bobcat stadium. Texas Tech was the record. 33006 I believe
we brought in extra seating for that one I think.

we had a lot more bobcat fans for this game though. It was almost half tech fans in 2012

any word yet on the seriousness of Orakpo's injury? that's a tremendous blow to an already shaky defense.

First word is it doesn't look good.
While we may not have won, I think losing our best D player (to a chop block) in the first quarter would have made this game closer.

Sad for him because it's his Senior year (he isn't going to sit another year just to play) and you know scouts were going to be looking at him all season.
The hit was a cheap shot helmet to the knee. Appears, though, that it is minor considering what it could have been. He may miss next week but I'd bet money on him bracing it up and playing. That said, I hope it's not the same leg (left) he had off season surgery on.

I still think he doesn't go down our D is different.

I just don't think one injury was the difference on D. Navy has the #1 rushing offense in the nation. They ran for 370 yards on Ohio State. They ran for 352 yards on us yesterday. Ohio State got stops and avoided penalties. We didn't avoid penalties or get stops. Four TD's on their first four drives is a team defense issue.

We just have to learn from this game, because the current #2 rushing offense in the nation (Georgia Southern) will be visiting San Marcos in November with their version of the triple option running attack.

You guys have a nice-looking stadium. It really pops during game night.
