Great? No. Good? Yes. I watched most of the first half, and your o-line was getting destroyed by the Va Tech defense. Carden was doing a great job of getting rid of the ball in one on one situations, but a lot of those throws could have gone the other way just as easily. Without a solid QB and some big time WR's, you guys would have been in deep crap.

Congrats on the win, but lets not go overboard and call this a great team.

Some of you guys just feed into the excuse machine of whenever a G5 school beats a P5 school that must mean they are over rated. VT just finished prison raping Ohio St on the road which is no easy task. They were pumped up for this game and we came right out and punched them in the mouth. Despite one of the worst and blatantly biased officiated games that I have ever witnessed in 26yrs of watching ECU Football, we managed to win. Beating P5 schools is sweet and beating ranked P5 schools on the road is even sweeter.

I would crap blue nickels celebrating if Southern Miss beat the evil empire of Alabama and I will pull for any CUSA school that plas a P5 school. The doucebag country club members are the enemy and we are just the caddies arguing and fighting

I have a lot of respect for their program and root for them anytime they aren't playing USM (or probably any other CUSA team now).

After all the history between our schools, not playing USM just doesn't seem right. One of my favorite away game experiences was at The Rock. I'm confident we'll be playing more in the future, and I'm sure it will be when USM gets back to where they will dominate the series again.
