The "Refs" in the ECU-VT game
These refs might be the some of the most bias refs, I ever seen in college football.

ECU haven't helped themselves, but the bogus holding call on that TD was ridiculous.

These particular referees should be investigated. Watching it on TV, every part of my body was tense.

No, this crew should be fired as this isn't the first time I have seen them call a game and they prove to be incompetent.

See the block in the back on that #VaTech punt return? The refs did too, but we call that a strategic non call.

Quit calling it bias, terrible and incompetent. What it is when it is this blatant is crooked. The officials gave the Hokies their first 7 points on a non catch. The second score was set up by a convenient third down and long interference call where the DB circled around the receiver to get a hand on the ball. And then the no calls you pointed too all add up to home field advantage. There was one holding call at a crucial time against the Hokies but considering the DL's arm was twisted behind his back by a lineman that was behind him while the QB was in front of him it would have been impossible to justify a no call there. But hey, they won anyway. Congratulations to the Pirates!

The conversation section for the game on ESPN.com is full of comments about the refs from neutral observers. Makes me feel justified in my homerism, lol.

JRSEC, I do believe that the NFL and the conference tell their refs to call a certain way for selected teams and the refs call it in a certain way to avoid suspicion.

I was phasing my post as not to arouse immediate anger and also to excite meaningful conversation.

I saw those comments. All the neutral fans (except for a Tennessee fan and a Missouri fan) thought the refs were awful.

While the crew was certainly awful, its not like they were ACC officials. I thought they were that incompetent SEC crew.

That same crew called ACC games last year and earlier this year. The head referee was the head referee in the Clemson/Syracuse game last season.
