9/13 MAC games thread
CMU's chimps with a nice opening drive that fizzled at the end and had to settle for a FG. Syracuse misses their FG from the 25 yard line.

I have to choke down my disgust (kind of like rooting for Notre Dame or Michigan) and pull for the primates here so that when we pull the upset in dismal flats later this season, it looks better. 05-stirthepot

At the end of 3 quarters, Marshall 41 Ohio U 7. Nice crowd in Huntington for the game with 31,710 attendance.

That was a helluva ballgame. Nice resiliency by the Falcons.

MAC can't be blanked this weekend. Got one win. BSU working on #2.

We've been ruminating on that one most of the day. Conclusion: really bad.

Well done, Falcons. Let IU snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Cards look really, really bad in all aspects today outside of run defense (and they've let a few botched tackles cost them in that area as well). Fumbled a punt return to allow ISU to score to end the half and take the lead. Ozzie is not making very makeable passes, and the secondary is playing really soft. Ick. Not good. ISU is playing with fire, and BSU is clearly not.

RE: 9/13 MAC games thread
For the second week in a row, UMass let victory slip from their hands. This week they gave up two scores to Vandy in the second half of the fourth quarter. One of the scores was via a blocked punt. The Minutemen drove to the Vandy 4, but missed a 22-yard field goal attempt to send the game into OT on the last play of the game.

It's usually true, you gotta know how to win in order to win the close ones (for reference: See Indiana).

Should have lost his job after the Akron game last year.

WMU has a helluva good QB. Problem is, he plays for Ind. St.

Parrish is a gunslinger.
