At this point, I don't we would. Most (if not all) of the Sun Belt has a problem with Idaho long term. They are too far outside of the front print for the league. In theory, we have one spot left and I think the league would rather spend it on somebody closer to the SBC ... SEC .. footprint.

RE: Gameday at NDSU
NDSU is probably waiting on to see what happens with the whole P5/G5 setup.
But D1AA teams have been moving up to FBS.
I believe NDSU could move right into the Mountain West. They're that good, although they'd have to work to go 4-4/5-3 in the conference off the bat. They wouldn't be like Buffalo joining the MAC who is under .500 since joining a long time ago.
They'd be more like Marshall joining in... where Marshall was better in its first handful of years in FBS (until their coach retired).
One could say the MAC, but there's less money there. CUSA would be a "safe" choice for them, IMO.
Staying in D1AA isn't the wisest choice when you're really good and have a good fan base -- unless you're about to (or are in the middle of) expanding the stadium or something.
With the P5/G5 situation unfolding... G5 may be the "new" D1AA in a sense, in which NDSU would want to be a part of -- while Boise, UCF, ECU, and Cincinnati would be joining the ACC/B10/PAC12.
