Pick-up games
Marius Hill looks like the most improved player on the team. Ben looks slim and trim, and is playing well. James White looks like he's grown another inch or 2. Mareik's shot is looking smooth. Josh is still Josh. Kemi is getting closer to being ready to play, although he hasn't been cleared to play in full court games. JT is back at full strength. Roger can ball. Andre, from Memphis, was looking good until he sprained his ankle. Gus is a man-child out there and is taking it to the rim with more authority. He also already has a job waiting for him in LR when he graduates. I think we will see him around the program for years to come. A lot of positives out on South University.

Do you know what job is waiting for Gus? It will be great having him in Little Rock. He's always been a positive for our program, both athletically and academically. Hope he has a great senior season.04-rock

I do, but I'd rather not say without his permission. Let's just say it's a great job any parent would be proud of their child getting.

It's gotta be either the head coach or AD job at UALR.

That is incorrect. Although Gus did appear excited about the new direction of the athletic department. I believe that he won't be one of those, of which there are money, who forgets about his alma mater when he graduates.

RE: Pick-up games
I certainly think Gus will be a success in whatever profession he enters, and although I've never met him, he must be everything good that those who do know him, say he is. Seems like an All American young man, and I believe he'll end up much like Jake Yancey, Alan Barksdale, Zac Graber, and of course Derek Fisher, a success in their fields, and some of the very few who will give something back to UALR along the way. Most that go through here, never seem to set foot in LR again
