What's this defense called?
Do we have a name for our defensive scheme? If not, I have a non-profane name for it. We should call it the "hope" defense. It's where you have your db's stay at least 10 yards away from any receiver and HOPE they drop it. What do you guys think?

It's called "Walk-Through" but that's what Cincinnati's offense is calling it

Guys the Bengals are a good team. Give Dalton and AJ their credit.

I don't think this defense can get any worse. That is the good news for the season. The bad news is we can't cover a pass over four yards.

RE: What's this defense called?
Maybe it is the Simon Sez defense. The coaches keep yelling to get pressure and cover the guy - but they keep forgetting to say Simon Sez first

If there is a name for a no pressure on the QB, leave the receivers wide open, and see if we can make an open field tackle defense - then that is the name of the defense.

The West Memorial defense?

What's this defense called?
After the game, UC coach said toledo went to man coverage for third quarter and brought the house.

Went away from that in the 4th.

Oddly enough I was texting my brother asking why not just play man to man with a single safety? If I'm going to go, I'd rather be hit by a train than die from a thousand paper cuts.....

I despise the zone defense because it only prevents rocket victories. Our defense can not fun an effective zone coverage, and we still try to run it. Its like trying to run through a brick wall, just ask EMU how that one worked out!

Lack of coaching! Maybe we can get Tom A out of retirement to teach defense.
