RE: Toledo
I don't echo what my fellow Rocket fans have stated on this thread.

This is Toledo's year to take back the MAC. Sure, we've only had 1 good game against an FCS opponent and then two really shi**y games against quality, yet beatable opponents, but we're a young team with a really young head coach leading the way. Imagine how good Toledo would be if they played every quarter like the 3rd quarter against Cincinnati. That comes with experience and coaching. Woodside is a good enough QB to help lead the way. In 2004, we got blown out by Minnesota and Kansas in the first 2 games and then ended up winning the MACC.

Just as saying how bad Toledo would be if they played every Q like the 1st Q against Cinci would be a silly thought, so would saying how Good Toledo would be making the 3rd Q every Q in every game, too.

It shows Toledo's inconsistent WITHIN a game. A bettor's nightmare. :)

I agree what was said before, though. None of this makes Toledo look like a downer team this year. They are suspect to possibly be a downer team -- yes. But they're suspect to lose games they should win, and win games they were thought to lose.

NIU should be weary of them. Toledo will be at least 5-3 in the MAC most likely. No worse than 4-4, no better than 6-2 -- from all indicators so far (and the MAC not having a great year).

I really dont think anyone in the MAC would beat Cinci or Missouri. We have certainly played a pretty tough schedule so far and got beat. I also think that Northwestern and UNLV would both get shreaded by both of those teams.

RE: Toledo
Cincinnati beating Toledo at home only impresses Toledo fans who live in an alternate reality, and probably Maddawgz.
