Soccer and volleyball appear to be strong. Men's XC picked to be 2nd. Both basketball teams ought to be pretty good.

Women's basketball could be awesome this year if everyone stays healthy. I think both men and women will be the best they've been for quite awhile.

Looks like this should be the best year in UALR athletics in quite awhile. I'm certainly hopefully soccer is really greatly improved, but I'll continue to be somewhat skeptical until they play a couple of conference games. I think our volleyball team is the best in the league. Not sure I see anyone better than our women's basketball team going into the season. I think the men's team has a lot of talent returning, and with the addition of Roger Wood, expect them to finish in the top 4 in the league.

That's about where they usually wind up isn't it? And some of ya'll are happy as a fat pig in the sunshine with that.

I'm happy to finish in the top 3rd of the league every year. I do think we might do even better this year, but it's a little early to make predictions without seeing exactly what we have coming in. I'm starting to believe Roger Wood is the real deal. The other signees, who knows? Certainly not me.
