Having just driven on Interstate 4 I would like to suggest a trophy for this rivalry game: a stretch of slanting interstate with krails topped by yellow LEDs in the median and high visibility drums topped by yellow leds in the emergency lanes with a state trooper driving a Tahoe hiding behind an exit sign.

Good lord. Only the main interstate from Fort Lauderdale to Miami is worse.

And it's only going to get worse on the Orlando side of things. They will be "improving" a 20+ mile stretch of I-4 from northeast of downtown thru to the tourist area. This "improvement" will take several years and will include adding 4 central toll lanes to that stretch of I-4...

Wait, is there another interstate between FTL & Mia that they're not telling us!?

That being said, believe it or not but IF used to be a lot worse. Well, at least on the Tampa side. But we make up for it with our lack of public transportation

It is going to be a nightmare, but at least the rich will have a nice smooth drive when it's done.

basically, what they did on 595 in broward is happening on I-4 directly through the heart of orlando. this will be a nightmare for the next 6 years.

Somewhat off topic but I was thinking about the war on I4 earlier today. If something were to happen in the future and UCF and USF found themselves in different conferences, do you think the rivalry would continue? USF was pretty adamant about not continuing the rivalry before and the only reason we're playing now is because we're in the same conference.

I pretty sure it continues. Genshaft has backed off of that stance and rightfully so.

Orlando is the worst for unnecessary traffic. The people who designed the road systems there failed so hard.
