MAC women's soccer 'overpowering' competition
Good article on the Miami Redhawks site about the MAC's successes in regards to soccer.

Quote:With three Big Ten victories, two Pac-12 wins and one ACC school defeated, the MAC teams have had a great start to their year with teams who have proven to be successful. Add it all up and MAC programs have topped four teams from power conferences that made the NCAA Tournament just a year ago, three of which finished in the top 30 of the final RPI rankings. Simply put, the MAC is becoming a conference to watch out for.

Don't know anything about WMU soccer, but they got a 250K gift to improve their soccer complex.

Yes, we now know EMU's marque sport: women's soccer (with the noted win over Indiana, a very good team).

Here's a better article on the WMU facilities and donation.
$250,000 anymous donation to Western Michigan soccer programs to allow for further facility renovations

Looks nice. Our men's program is gaining on Akron. Still have a ways to go, though.
