To the Rebel fan, coming onto our board and complaining about the refs is trollesqe. You seem like a good guy though. Good luck with the rest of your season. I'll be cheering for ya.

I think my actions/comments from a few days before the game til now have been far from trollesque, but that's ok. I just wanted a place to talk Rebel football, and your board is a much better place to do that than ours.

In watching the roughing/running into play again: the online stream doesn't show a good view to analyze it completely. I feel like I saw a better view when I was at the game watching the screens in the concourse as I was about to leave the game with my 4-year-old (left early not to give up on the team, but because my boy was hot and restless and too much to handle on my own). It seemed like roughing to me, but the running/roughing distinction is pretty arbitrary, and I can see us getting the benefit of the doubt on that play since we were trailing big at that point.

We'll see about making the trip out to your place next season. I am a young father, just starting a job with 2 kids (and one more due in November) so I don't know if long trips for away football games is in the cards for me, yet. We'll see, though, cuz as fun as it is to go to home football games, there is something about the "us against the world" mentality on the road that I love.

Rebel, don't get so easily baited. Ignore it. That's how things escalate into a bunch of little boys arguing about nothing on the internet.

Aligent flies from McCarren to Rockford, IL which isn't far from DeKalb, IL (NIU) and usually has the cheapest air fares. Beat Houston next week

Rebel, don't listen to the troll comment...clearly that guy hasn't seen you've been posting all week and you have been a solid cat the whole way! Best of luck rest of the season and come back any time man
