Quote:With the changes to the postseason and the Power 5 vs. Group of 5, does it leave ECU with a little bit of a chip on its shoulder?

Carden: There’s been a lot of talk about the Power 5 and leaving these other schools behind. It leaves the D-I, but not Power 5 conferences in this weird balance of, I guess we’re not top D-1 conferences anymore. I’ve come out and said, there’s only one way to get in, and that’s to win games. We all want to be a part of that, we should be a part of that, but the thing you do is go out and beat teams like this. I don’t necessarily like this whole Power 5 deal, but it’s the way it is and something I can’t control other than going out, and when I have an opportunity to play teams from the Power 5, go out and play well and try to win those games.

Jeez people. How hard is it to tag a post properly.

Power 5 references abound. I am so sick of ESPN pushing that label.

Perhaps it just ESPN's way of reporting 'Breaking News: ECU to the ACC!"

lol

It is on the ACC blog because ECU plays an ACC team this week.

Plus they don't really want original content showing up on the AAC blog because then we might expect more of it.
