Awesome, it's great to see that it will be more than me and a couple friends. Excited to see everyone in person.

This is going to suck for watching on TV. Under 30 minutes to game time, and the preceding game is still 2:27 left in the 3rd quarter. Going to miss the beginning of it for anyone recording on DVR.

The Rice contingent at BWW has some tables, FWIW.

Jake's was good. Thanks to owl95 for putting it all together.

A quick post, because I'm very tired, we had about 14 people total tonight at Jake's which is a great showing for same day notice. It was a lot of fun meeting everyone, a great atmosphere, and good food. I think it was a success and I want to thank everyone for showing up. I think we actually outnumbered the Aggie fans :)

I've contacted the Rice office and I think we're going to keep doing this at Jake's for the Away games that are televised. It's a good location that is easy to drive to, Jake's management showed us good hospitality tonight, putting up placards and a stat sheet for us, and letting us have sound in the back room going forward will be huge. We will be there again on Sept 27 at 6pm.

Hope to see even more folks there in two weeks. Thanks again to everyone for a good time tonight.

Had a great time at Jake's and I hope it becomes the future venue for game watching activities.

+1 for Jake's. We actually outnumbered Aggie fans through the night, and management being willing to actually reserve us space is huge.
