They were hell bent and determined not to let us run, so they kept one on one coverage most of the game. I think USA will see a different MSU defense this week.

Doesn't mean the Jags can't win. Just don't expect as many open receivers as UAB saw. USA has the added advantage of playing at home.

Uh, he didn't realize that.

I expect MSU to tighten that defense up more this week, but UAB is running the same offense as USA (the OC was USA's QB coach last season) and USA has better players running it. It'll all come down to how the QB plays.

three 75+ TD passes are not a fluke. a good offense exploits the openings given to it. im sure UAB coaches have had a few conversations with USA coaches this week.
