No one ever said she could act, but Jayne Mansfield really was beautiful. Her daughter Mariska Hargitay has been on Law & Order SVU ("Olivia Benson") for 15 years now.

Just goes to show you that sometimes, colors remove the "truth".



Just loses some of the feeling of just how bad things were during that time. The color photo just makes it seem like a family photo..

That photo hangs at the Oklahoma Historical Center. It was actually taken near Amarillo Texas. Those are Oklahoma farmers from around the town of Sayre that are prospecting west.
