Western Kentucky is a directional school and Sunbelt team. Do not hire.

from the UVa board

Can see why SEC never interested.Terps may have bought more folks to C-Ville.Pitiful.Bear won only SEC title at Ky.Couldn't tolerate Rupp Hoo by all accounts was a jerk.Wes Unseld afraid to go to Ky & play for him.Hope Cards prove me wrong down the road.Would rather have Navy or Cincinatti right now.Very dissappointing.Petrino not a great choice to follow Strong.

RE: SMU, why not hire Jeff Brohm from WKU?
It sound's like Rice's head coach, David Baliff, is throwing his hat in the ring for the job or maybe he is just trying to force Rice to give him a raise.

"
2. Dallas is a city where appearances matter (seen Jerry World?), so I assume SMU is going to try to attract a marquee name to replace June Jones as the Mustangs head coach. It would make more sense if SMU looked for a guy who had succeeded in a similar situation. Take David Bailiff, who has two 10-win seasons in seven years at Rice. Yeah, Rice. Bailiff also knows the Metroplex from his three seasons on Gary Patterson's staff at TCU. He is a logical candidate, but that might mean nothing on Mockingbird Lane."

Why are these Louisville clowns still on this board anyways?

Wilkie has been on these boards for years and he's a Western Kentucky alumnus who was a fan of both Western Kentucky and Louisville.

My guess is the UL posters are pretty lonely on the ACC board, Seems like the cuse fans are always here looking for attention too.07-coffee3

Actually, I have degrees from the University of Louisville and the University of Kentucky. However, I am a Cardinal first and foremost! I like WKU because about 20 of my relatives have WKU degrees. 07-coffee3

I never told you that, you have an active imagination. I told you I was born about 40 miles from Bowling Green in Munfordville, where a civil war battle was fought. I am an old school American. My Wilkersons (Norman/Viking-Irish) were in Virginia by 1610 and my McCubbins ( Scot-Irish sea raiders) of Clan Buchanan were in Baltimore by 1650. They all went South to North Carolina, West to around Nashville, TN and then to their Revolutionary War land grants in Green and Hart Counties in Western Kentucky. My Wilkersons also fought with Washington in the French and Indian Wars and Andrew Jackson at New Orleans in 1814. I have a great-grand father named Andrew Jackson Wilkerson and his great-grand father was named Andrew Jackson Wilkerson, also. Us Scott-Irish did not like the British very much! and I am Southern and you can never accuse me of being a yankee! 07-coffee3
