Saw several players at the soccer game tonight. I asked which new guy I should look out for this year. They pretty much all said in unison "Roger Wood". These were all players I see as being major contributors this season. They were all clearly impressed by Mr. Wood. I just looked up what he did last year. First team all-Mississippi Juco. 19.5 points and 6.8 rebounds. I believe Mississippi Juco ball is considered very good.

Before this, I had spoken to RBL, who happened to mention watching Roger doing a 3 point drill. Said he was knocking them down from all over the court. I knew this kid was a bruiser, but he can apparently shoot as well. This should be one fun basketball season.

I think we stole one.

Maybe he'll save this class.
