Our fans have been mentioned more... not our team.

I've never seen a fan base that actually wants to be in the Bottom 10. You guys are some crazy cats.

Georgia Southern has not actually been on the bottom 10. The guy just makes jokes about getting emails from fans. It seems to be his shtick for the season. Kind of funny.

He went to Furman. That's is all.

The writer, McGee, is more into motorsports, music and baseball than football. He uses whatever he
can latch onto to get interest up for his articles. Not saying we don't belong in the bottom ten right now
but have never believed he had an overwhelming passion for football.

Good thing they beat Mercer barely or some furple paladins would be calling for a return of Bobby Lamb, if they aren't already. Glad to finally see WCU doing something after all those years. Imagine McGee wouldn't wear the football stuff, listening to some of his ESPN pod casts sounds like he is into music more than anything.

There are a lot of folks both alumni and others that want us to fail at FBS. For me personally, it's the most unanticipated aspect of this transition. It's sad that people hope for failure so they can say I told you so.

We have given those folks plenty of fodder over the last 1.5 years. I hope one day we can shut these folks up. Emphatically.

Eh he said we'd be wishing we were FCS still? No. It's transition year 2, throwing out the record till next year, will be nice to see our players be the same size as the other teams or even bigger though, south Alabamas players made ours look like smurfs
