I have a question are the roads going by the stadium closed down before or after the game? I will have 1 person with me that is putting off Aortic Bifemoral Bypass surgery till Oct 6th so she can make the MTSU and Navy trips....yes we even plan major surgery around Western Sports.
The problem is she can not walk long distant so I will need to drop off at the stadium and also pick up at the stadium. At Western our main road is one way traffic for 30 to 45 minutes after the game and at a lot of stadiums the road going by it is blocked off...most large stadiums. Never was a problem at a SBC school. So is Faulkinberry Dr, and Normal Way and MTSU BLVD open before and after the game?
Are there any shuttle buses at the parking lots by the softball field? A lot of places (Ill last week) have golf carts for this how about MTSU? If I remember correctly I believe gate 4 is the one closes to Western's section, 2J?

Faulkinberry is closed the whole time. They have renamed the other streets so I am not sure what is what but I think they will all be open. I would reach out to our Ticket office and tell them you need assistance I believe they will provide you with either a pass or cart ride if you request it. If not I have a Greenland Pass that I only use for loading our suite because I tailgate in the Grove. If you don't have luck with our ticket office let me know and you can have it anytime after 2:30.

Thanks for the offer but the problem is solved! MTSU is 100% better at getting back to you with a answer than Western is. Got a email from a Mr Hall in Parking that took care of my concerns....and it's Gate 3 not 4.
To be honest this is bad luck for MTSU...Western is 10-2 in road conference games over the last 3 years.
10-0 when my wife is at the game..she missed the UL-L game 2 years ago and Western lost on the last play..we had a TD but it was called out of bounds with 000 on the clock. Last year @USA, Western is driving (USA 20 YARD LINE) and a INT in the endzone with under a minute to play. Both from SI Joint surgery...
2 years later we find out it wasn't the problem...it's 3 blockages in her Aorta Vein

Are you sure it's a good idea to go/watch a MT/WKU game with the condition of your wife? Good luck to your wife in her surgery.
just a travel advisory for those coming south on I65. If I were you, I would get on Briley Pkwy and connect with I24 south of town and avoid the construction around Trinity Lane just below where 65 and 24 merge. I avoid it because it always seems there is a wreck there when you are wanting to get somewhere.

If that kind of Juju Witchcraft continues people would start to question their religion, and nobody wants that. So tomorrow we are winning for Jesus!
Glad it got taken care of.
Wishing good health to you and your wife even if you're Toppers.
I live in Northern Murfreesboro, and I always go this way (through Franklin, Ky and Portland, TN) to Western. Much better than the interstate, in my opinion. I guess it all depends on your starting point.

Thank you for the heads up. I use both ways when coming towards Murfreesboro but will go Briley tomorrow to be safe
I have to say MTSU does their handicap parking right! most places will only have a few spots in each lot, not MTSU, they have a lot right next to gate 4 maybe 30 yards away for anyone with a handicap tag....only handicap parking. I don't know about the rest of C-USA but every school should do it this way. TXST was the only one in the SBC that had a large section for hanicap parking next to the stadium....for a price. MTSU was free. I guess other SBC schools could have but till last year we didn't need it.
Again as with answering questions this is something I wish Western would do. Doesn't affect us at home games because we park in PS2 right next to the stadium. But I know a few others that miss coming to the games because of their handicaps and no parking.

Great job MTSU
Bad thing is.....you would not believe the amount of young folks that are perfectly fine that ride around with handicap placards. There is some sort of illegal activity going on in Middle Tennessee.
I know my wife was "offered" a handicap card that you hang from a mirror (for a price) by a guy that played football at TSU (he's 6-8 and co-owner of a bar near the Titans stadium). He, himself, uses the handicap spots. This was a few years ago.
He said he knew someone in the government offices.
