Hare Named Starter for UNLV
I'd really like to know yesmans take on TW. I Love him as a punter and last year his KO were deep and consistent IMO. The fg this year needs to be fixed but is it him? He missed the short one at Pres which he just shanked. Last week he missed a close one and an EP but I couldn't tell if it was the hold or the kick. A bad hold can be just as deadly as the kick itself. I can't tell from the video and I was hoping yesman might give some insight before we all start blaming TW whi really is doing over and above for this team

Now I feel better about our kicking woes.

I don't. I've been spoiled by guys like Azar and Nendick and Salerno. Though Iowa had 3 missed FGs (2 different kickers) against Ball State and those were all short FGs.

Sarcasm, my friend, sarcasm.

Sorry, my sarcasm meter is in the shop.

The missed extra point was the holder's fault. He dropped the ball and it was laying on its side when Wedel kicked it.

It's kind of weird the backup kicker is the holder, isn't it?

I would have Brinlee do it. Not like he's doing anything else this year anyways lol.

Wedel was the holder for Sims.
