Human beings have been cruel to one another since forever.

But I really am convinced that there is something about our current times that is bringing such cruelty up to the surface at an earlier age, and in a more virulent form, than ever before.

I am shocked that they were charged with only misdemeanors. But, this is just awful. And, it shouldn't require a twitter campaign for the authorities to act.

Live and let live. This is what happens down the slippery slope of the principle of non aggression. As poor behavior becomes tolerable, the poor behavior becomes poorer. This would have never been permitted 20 years ago.

It's time to cleanse the gene pool of this kind of evil. I think it should be legal to shoot and kill anyone doing this.

Truth be told, the ones doing the hitting (or whatever that was) looked more like the mental ones the way they were dressed.

So are you trying to downplay the lack of caring in our society by coming up with a "well, it's probably always been this way" argument?

That's pretty weak.

Disturbing video - I couldn't watch it all. This is a case of bad parenting and how respect for other people these days is lost. This was planned, the video is proof of that. That these kids would be proud to bully a handicapped kid and save it on film is deserving of a special kind of ass kicking.

For clarity....The principle/axiom of non aggression is as follows(and forgive me for paraphrasing) People can do pretty much whatever they want to do as long as their actions do not involve theft, fraud, VIOLENCE, or the destruction of property.

EVERYTHING in those vids violates that principle. It is very cut and dried. No slippery slope what so ever exists here. No Libertarian would have any problem with these kids being held to extreme punishment. I would in fact submit...probably more harsh than they will receive.

but, the live and let live approach society leads to a moral breakdown -thus leading to this kind of behavior. You are leaving out many of the steps along the way.
