The AD
Unfortunately I could see this coming. The OU basketball game again at the BOK. Looks like we'll never ever get a true home game with these guys and its really not OU's fault IMO. An AD can do great damage with unfair contracts. This is an example. I've been saying this for years. OU will make this a home game for them with their fans, their refs and their atmosphere.

According to what everyone had heard that game was going to be at the Don. So I assume the contract was either changed by the current AD or the past one after the contract was agreed to originally for a contest at the Don. This is a travesty IMO. I'm thinking of just sitting home again on game nights. The new AD has just created a problem for himself with some of us and I think there's a short leash on him as far as I'm concerned.

We enter perhaps the best MBB league in the nation and he is prostituting us out to the competition. If these are the kinds of contracts we'll get from now on, then we'll get what we deserve, a crappy AD and a program in decline.

IMO

Yeah I specifically remember that when this series was announced last year the our game was supposed to be on campus at the Reynolds Center.
I'm not opposed to us using the bok center for big games (if the need ever were to arise), but not for in state rivals like OU and OSU. We need to make them come to campus...

This game will be played at the Reynolds Center. We all need to stop assuming Haisten & the World know what they're talking about.

Yeah, I almost jumped out of my seat and was ready to give up my season tickets. To say I was upset would be a huge understatment. The article that I read was actually done by an OU writer, but you'd certainly think the TW would proofread.

Wiin or lose, its been a long time since OU has visited the TU campus in both FB and MBB. I talked to the guy in the ticket office on how they would handle the OU FB game and he said they were selling seaon tix first, then a minipack and single games would be done after them. He also said that the extra single game OU tix would be offered to the TU season ticket holders first - before the general public. So I'm going to go around to everyone that I can think of who isn't an OU fan and tell them if they want an OU ticket to deal through me. And I've told them that the requirement is that they have to were TU blue - OSU fans included. I'm going to reduce the price on each of those tickets by $10 out of pocket.

If any of you can afford it, you might think about that.
