Thanks for the heads up HuskieNation. I thought this was pretty good and deserved it's own thread. The NIU preview starts at about the 16 minute mark...
"the focal point of the NIU running game is Akeem Daniels, a big bruising back at 230 lbs"...lol.
however their coach just called us the Boise State of the MAC and said this is the biggest game they've ever had at their stadium and basically the best team to come play there ever...cool to hear

He also said NIU won the orange bowl....I honestly think NIU trounces this team...they've looked terrible and NIU has looked solid, not great, but we're still waiting for the offense to figure some things out...think this could be a spankin for the rebels

We were 29 point favorites at Idaho last year the game after upsetting Iowa with a bye week in between. Another perfect set-up for a let down this week. Happens often in college football after important wins.
Our defense certainly needs to show it can play with the same intensity and sense of urgency week in and week out, and our offense needs to show progress and improvement.

I get what ur saying but I also think that an insanely weird situation...they had to bus 2+ hrs to the arena from the hotel, which in itself looked like playing in some bizarre church gym...
