Saw where Tank Jakes also made the AAC Honor Roll.

Below from the AAC website:

Tank Jakes • Sr. • LB • Memphis • Phenix City, Ala.
Led Memphis with 12 tackles, including 11 solo stops in a 42-35 loss at No. 11 UCLA. Had two sacks and four tackles for loss, a forced fumble and a pass breakup.

I don't we would have seen this if he didn't start last season as a Freshman.

It is nice to know that we may the same QB start 4 straight seasons.

Yeppers, that shrieking shrill carnival barker Vernon was 100% wrong.

Again.

It is an absolutely staggering concept that the head coach knows his players and makes the BEST decision for the long term progress of the program.

RE: Paxton Lynch AAC Offensive Player of the Week
I have a lot of faith in Coach Fuente. He won me over when he went out on the field to argue with the ref his first year when they screwed us on the time out call against MTSU. I was disappointed with the QB situation last year because like all of us I wanted to win right away and felt Karam could do that for us. But with faith in the coach I felt he knew what was best in the long run for the team. So far he's looking pretty damn smart to me.

Will the critic's never understand the coach knows best. That's why they don't recruit you to coach.
