The marching band really stood tall and played great on Saturday!! They played on the field before the game, in the stands during the entire game, and performed at halftime for NU's Band Day. As much as I have been critical of the band's lack of size, I thought that our band completely outperformed the NU Wildcat band in every facet of their performance. The band played after every first down, played loud and strong when we were in a 3rd down situation on defense, and did a great job on the field. The fight song never sounded so great after every score as well!! It was great to have them with the fans at Northwestern. It made the gameday experience and victory that much sweeter! Great job everyone!!!

HuskieTom, I forwarded this to the band. I hope they are able to look over it today at their rehearsal.

They pumped at least some (I thought all) taped music through that system. And more than once it was on for more than a few seconds after we were at the line. It just sounded really bad, at least from where I was.

The High School bands were impressive as well during half time
