Its as good a pick as any. The first two weeks there seemed to be multiple possible winners. This week, I think there's a good chance that none of these upsets pan out.

Iowa game

I picked UMASS. Held their own against Colorado while Vanderbilt is a train wreck.

I picked ECU because they are playing well and I think VaTech may have a letdown after their big win in Columbus.

Two late lines added to OP.

The more I look at that Toledo/Cincy game the more intrigued I am. If it was Week 8, I think Cincy would steamroll them. As it is, Toledo has had 2 games to iron out problems, while Cincy will be going out there with a new QB (I believe). There will certainly be some first week mistakes.

I'm a huge homer obviously, but I like our chances to beat VT straight up.

I was torn between this, Wake, and Georgia Southern. UMass was home vs Colorado though...long trip for the Buffs and UMass didn't look very good against BC.

I'm taking ECU as the homer pick. Honestly, I don't see what I would consider a 'safe' upset pick this week. ECU, Toledo, and Iowa St cover
