I cannot wait until Saturday! The Huskies are 2-0 with a very good chance to start 3-0 for the second straight year. Along with the final score, I will make a few other predictions for this game.

- The Huskies will have two 100 yard rushers
- TLL has six or more catches for at least 75 yards and a TD
- The Huskies defense has at least three sacks and a turnover
- Tyler Wedel misses another field goal and get's replaced by one of the freshman

I really don't like that the weather will be in the 90s. Hopefully we stay hydrated, and nobody cramps up.

I think NIU will be able to score a lot in this game. Arizona started a freshman QB that absolutely lit them up. Nearly 800 yards for Arizona that game.

UNLV lost a senior WR last game and struggled to score on Northern Colorado (an FCS school that has lost 12 straight now) and Arizona alike.

UNLV's QB has turned it over too. I know it's a road game and involves heat and distant travel, but NIU wins everywhere but neutral site games the last few years.

They've also had attendance issues, so I don't expect a crazy intimidating environment.

UNLV barely got by a bad D1AA team, and they got Crushed by an Arizona team that scored less than half the points against UTSA.

If NIU doesn't play sloppy and doesn't have a wave of bad luck, they should win by 17, IMO. However, with the QB juggling situation, that could hold back their O. Scoring nothing the 1st half against NIU wasn't pretty -- they're still figuring themselves on O, but this game should be an opportunity to help cement it down.

UNLV isn't very good. They will throw a lot, accumulate some yards, but also have a turnover or two. I'm saying on of the true freshman gets a pick. NIU will have over 450 yards. Kids need to stay hydrated, you'll see a lot of rotation getting young guys playing time.

I know UNLV is looking at game film and seeing the success NW had throwing the ball on us. If we cannot stop the pass, we are in for a fight all night. I think NIU opens up the O more, starting QB Hare gets more confident and O clicks more. I don't think heat will be an issue, at NIU these kids are used to humidity and heat, out here it's only a dry heat, which makes it easier to breath. If NIU lets UNLV throw all night, we could be looking at a 3 point game, but I think NIU’s D will continue to surprise and fly around the field wreaking havoc. See you in Vegas!

Did I see that the game is on the Mountain West Network? Will we still be able to stream the game online?

I think the Mountain West Network is solely online...kinda like the MAC digital Network.
