...Let me just say that I could not believe how packed it was. When we got there, the doorman wouldn’t let us in until two people walked out. Because the place was so packed, they were enforcing a “2-out, one in” rule. I’d never experienced that before.

The atmosphere was great, too. Here’s video of the reaction when the Tigers tied the game at 35 apiece in the fourth quarter when Fritz Etienne had a pick-six...

ALSO->

Jack Wang @thejackwang
UCLA gave up 469 offensive yards vs Memphis -- the most the Bruins have allowed to a nonconference opponent under Jim Mora.

Good article and I agree with point 4, you will be bowling this year. I see at least 5 or 6 winnable games on your schedule. The Pirates are my team, but I'm pulling for both you and Temple this year too. I think you will both do some damage in this conference this year.

Not much of a football conference to do "damage" --- but I do agree with you otherwise, Memphis football is coming along real nice.

You guys looked really well coached last year, but caught a few bad breaks. I think this year is a true breakout season at the AAC teams expense. Great game...win it next time.

BTW - what in the hell was the purpose of that? Why not 1 for 1?

Just guessing but I think it means they weren't counting before the game started and then, when it got way too full, they had to start getting folks out of there. If Memphis football can just keep this momentum I can see 50K at games in a couple of years. First time I've seen a Memphis football reaction like the one in the video at any night spot in the city. You'd think they were watching a basketball game. 04-cheers
