You're trying far too hard, what MT fan has made any comment approaching that level of arrogance?

You guys look much better, naturally you expect to win, we've owned the series, naturally we expect to win. What exactly is the issue?

I want to see complete domination and humiliation of Middle Saturday. You can keep the series

I'd advice against holding your breath.

Thanks for the advise.

Subtle, but well done.

Ramen what is your problem with MT we dont think we are that school but we do think we have a pretty solid team. As for your beat down you better hope it doesnt go the other way.

Why would you think you have a solid team? You lost to Minnesota, and it wasn't really close. This may sound sarcastic, but I'm asking honestly.

1) Minnesota won 8 games last year, they appear to be on the rise(by their standards).

2) It only got ugly on a series started by a ref directly causing a pick six.

3) We outplayed them in the 2nd half and had three different backs eclipse 5ypc.

4) They were a 17 point favorite and we lost by 11, if not for a missed FG or a review that went against on a TD(the broadcast team had it going our way) it would have been a one possession game.

Considering this is the same board that had a fan calling the UCLA loss the best win in program history, I don't think we're reaching by taking positives from the Minnesota game.

Tiger fans need to choose their words carefully because you just never know when you might have to eat them.

MT has owned us as of late as we still trying to recover from the West downward spiral and the asinine Porter hire but I think we are much better than last year and could win Saturday if all goes according to plan.

You're right. Apples are greater than Oranges. Hence, UCLA is greater than Minnesota.

1) Those 8 wins came against 7 pretty poor teams and a Bo Pelini led Huskers team. But, that was last year. Minnesota lost a ton from last year's team. This year, they're ranked somewhere around 75th in the power rankings so far. Really bad.

2) I'm not sure what that means. Blown call?

3) The game was effectively over by halftime.

4) You only lost by 11 b/c you guys scored a TD in garbage time.

I mean, our loss to UCLA wasn't a win by any stretch. But losing by 7 in what was actually a close game to a top 15 team, and losing a blowout loss to the 75th ranked team in the country are a bit difference, right?

We had a TD called out of bounds, but it appeared clear to all watching that the receiver had possession and one foot in bounds, but it was a close play. We kick a FG there rather than a TD, add those three points and change literally nothing else and our "garbage time" TD gets it to one possession going for the onside kick.

I'm also never one to blame the refs, but the ref that screened our WR literally put seven points on the board for Minnesota. If our receiver completes that route, it's at worst still picked but we havr a man there to tackle the defender, more than likely it would have been broken up or a short gain.

2) It means that the ref took two steps forward and ran into our receiver as the qb was throwing the ball. The DB then had noone in front of him, and could have moonwalked into the endzone. Instead of a completion for 5 yards, it became a Minnesota TD.

3) If the game was over by halftime, noone told Minnesota. The UM starters never left the field, and 4 minutes into the third, we had seemingly cut the score to 28-14. A botched replay forced us to settle for a field goal, making it 28-10.

As I've said before, I enjoy this series, hope it continues in the future, I'd sign up for it to come back as soon as our four year home and home with Vandy ends.

Wish I was coming on Saturday, but it's a bit of a haul from Atlanta and I have to pick and choose games from a financial standpoint unfortunately, making roadtrips as a student was much easier, such is life as a "grownup" I suppose.

Remember when MT was in Memphis 2 years ago and the ref called a defensive time-out on Memphis when we didn't call time out and Fuente dog cussed him that lead to a MT touchdown on the next play.

It's called football and you live with it instead of crying like a little baby.

Well, Ref is part of the field. Tell your receiver to watch out for him next time.

The Minny starters looked content to pound the ball and milk the clock, making the second half a foregone conclusion.

Seems like the MTSU defense allowed that Cobb guy to chew up about 500 yards on the ground.
