To have 5 teams in the top twenty five and 3 close by is both good and bad.

I wouldn't put Pitt in top 25 for beating Delaware and BC, not exactly top competition

Pitt below UNC? Ridiculous.

ACC only has 4 teams in top 25.

It doesn't matter to me if Pitt isn't ranked or where they're ranked. As long as my boyz continue to handle business, that respect will come in time.

It is still pre-mature for Pitt to be ranked or worried about being ranked. We've had a very rocky couple of years. If we start 4-0, then it might make sense to start talking about the beauty contests.

Absolutely. For all we know, the boys lay an egg against FIU. I don't think they will, but it's still Pitt. lol

Right now Notre Dame is a solid top 10 team IMO. Louisville and Va. Tech are top 15.

This makes absolutely NO SENSE, other than the fact that most pollsters can't justify dropping a team TOO far in one week. (it would mean they REALLY messed up with their prior votes). Which is why polls are dumb.

For crying out loud! Ohio St. LOST to Virginia Tech at HOME. And somehow, Ohio St. is still better than Virginia Tech? Does not compute.

I sure hope the selection committee avoids that kind of garbage. I'm sure glad the first selection committee vote doesn't come out until after week 9.
