Gosh Marshall's schedule is pure garbage. They don't have a single team in their schedule who even looks like a bowl team this season.

ECU, UCF and Cincy would beat the garbage out of any C-USA team. Imagine Marshall trying to beat South Carolina or Virginia Tech. They'd get steamrolled.

Marshall may get steamrolled...but I'd like UAB's chances. 03-drunk

sadly you are wrong. Ucf should have beaten 2 mediocre P5 teams. Lost to weak Penn st and and got killed vs average Missouri today. Most of the P5 teams that the AAC lost to were unranked. Now as for our ECU pirates beating a top 10 V Tech and losing a very close game to a good SC (see what SC did today?) we are the ones playing the tough P5 schools and so far this season, the only ones in the league doing so

Bullshheeeeeeeeit... Penn State and Mizzou would have been a significant win for any team in any league. By the way, these games are scheduled well before anyone has an inkling about how strong that team will be that particular year. So, scheduling Penn State and Mizzou is generally a pretty good BET at a strong OOC slate. Remember that before you run off that the mouth about ECU being the only one to do this or do that.

The conference is rough this year and any of the top 4 teams can win it (UCF, Cincy, ECU, Houston).

RE: AAC record vs FBS through Week 3
Not to mention Mizzou was ranked 20th and will most likely move up to the 15-17 range and Penn State may be ranked later today.

That would mean our two losses to open the season were against ranked and undefeated P5 opponents.

i get that but we all know, including ucf fans that penn state isnt that good this year, rutgers looked like they should have won, and psu struggled to beat Akron

but mizzou looks legit tho

03-lmfao After seeing that final score, USF is in even worse shape than I thought.

Except, Marshall took VT to triple overtime last year. ECU lost straight up to that team--no OT. ECU also had the chance to prove their dominance of CUSA last year and failed. I am not trying to knock your teams, but to think Marshall would just get steamrolled is delusional. We could compete.

2013 =/= 2014
MOST fans that watched that game would say that we completely **** the bed against Marshall last year. Really uncharacteristic. Frankly I don't know wtf happened.

All that said, if ECU and Marshall played this year I don't think we'd "steamroll" or "beat the garbage" out of them. I'd expect a really hard fought game but I'd give us the nod b/c it would be at ECU.

Yeah, nobody is calling PSU world beaters but 3-0 is 3-0. Akron gave Penn State their best shot and still got solidly handled 21-3. Hardly a struggle. That score may look like a struggle to a Houston fan who is used to high-scoring offenses, running up scores, and blowouts against lesser opponents but a 21-3 win is a dominating win to an old-school offense.

I am pretty sure this is the same post you made last year before getting rolled by Marshall. I miss ECU being in CUSA but I don't miss their delusional fans.
