Battle for the Bell; Ohio @ Marshall
Before the trash talks start, I'd like to say that this rivalry game is one of my favorite games of the year, and I personally wish it would continue every year.

I have nothing but total respect for Frank Solich and the Bobcats, and I'm sure our game in Huntington next week will be another good one. I'm sure hoping for some sweet revenge since you've owned us for the last 3 years, but that's the thing with rivalry games. Anything can happen and often does.

Here's to a good, hard fought game with no injuries to either team. I'm sure neither of us is taking the other lightly and that both will represent their conferences, proudly.

I can understand taking a year off occasionally, maybe two, but a 3 year break is too long, by the time it starts back up in year 4 most of the kids in the locker room will not know what it means to prep for the Battle of the Bell. Imo its one of the best G5 OOC rivalry games out there. Should be a fun week.
