You are absolutely correct. Great post. This game and how we played does more for our image than winning by 3 tds next week will do. It gets people talking about UAB, it tells recruits that we can play big boy football. We need as many fans as we can get. Hell I wouldn't mind getting some new ones and getting rid of some old ones. Like those who said Blazer fans should get use to winning 3 games a year or the many on here that said we shouldn't schedule these games but instead load up on cupcakes just to ensure a winning record. Btw did Miss St. ever put that reporter in at qb? Since he said he could qb them to a 5 td win over UAB I figured he would see some action.

I'm standing in line at Jack's this morning wearing UAB gear and had the counter guy and the guy behind me (wearing Gump gear) talking about how good UAB looked yesterday, and how the new coach has them looking up.

Guess I could have told them to tend their own knitting and leave my team alone.

All aboard the bandwagon...... doesn't mean we have to forget about those in the media who have taken a huge dump on our school for the past 45 years.

Replays of the game will be on the Fox as well as $EC network in the wee hrs of tues. I didn't set my dvr long enough to get the whole game, missed the last few minutes w/ out td & onside kick (really wanted to see that as I thought Ty had it)

The first half was very long. Had to extend my DVR.

Speaking of 33/40, did they do away with Blazer's All Access or whatever the football show was called?
