Are you aware of how bad we were for 3 1/2 years (arguably worst in FBS), how badly other fans savaged us, and how being so bad potentially cost us traction in realignment?

It's just not my style to get on here and brag about what Memphis has done or is going to do. It's just not my gig at all and I certainly wouldn't have brought back a thread from months ago.

However, we've taken so much junk from posters from other programs over the last few years about how poor our football program is, why not give those folks that do puff their chests a bit a little slack? They have eaten so much dung from other posters, why not let 'em be a little gleeful in Memphis' year of improvement...even if it is a bit over zealous?

Again, it's not my style, but I'm celebrating every win just as much as the vocal folks and hoping that we can finish the year strong. Its not like other programs don't have posters that point out their teams' accomplishments multiple times.

Programs ebb and flow - sometimes they're up, sometimes they're down.

I have no problem with Memphis fans gloating about their success. After UC finishes 9-3 and wins their bowl game for another 10-win season, we'll do the same thing.

We were feeling just as giddy after getting our shot against Baylor in the Fiesta Bowl.
