We rarely talk about moral victories in basketball actually...although in all sports, competitive losses are bearable.

It was a solid effort...based on the idea that UCLA was top ten caliber and we were not expected to be that competitive. Had we been favored and the game played out as it did people would be miserable.

Team looked good...and the defense, which struggled, we know has the potential to play better and Saturday's game is likely a defensive outlier...but...

Now need to win some games.

I wish this could be about Memphis, instead of being about one team compared with another...something that begs for a similar themed response.
