Those are some tightly packed numbers.
Top 5 teams all within 1700 of each other.

USF was lucky to have 12K. There are lies and then there are damn lies....
Tulane's away stands looked empty... the rest of stadium was packed...what gives?

Ours was very legit. Thought we'd do a little better, but it didn't look bad. Would've been better in a 30-34K seat stadium.

You were seeing the premium seats. A lot of those people were inside the air conditioning.
To review, Tulane built the press box opposite the premium seating. Tulane's team also takes the sideline in front of the press box. So the cameras are shooting at the double decked side of the stadium, where the away team has its sideline.

This I don't understand. Tulane is a great away game to have on your schedule. My wife and I never missed an away Tulane game and for GT fans, its not that bad of a trip.

If Temple keeps playing as they are and with that fun QB to watch, I would suspect Temple to get some good attendance numbers at their games.

It's the club level and during the extreme heat everybody was getting drunk and eating and watching it on 70 inch screens throughout the club. Tulane fans are not yet conditioned for outdoor stadiums. We have been going to the dome for 40 years where the temperature was 60 degrees. Haha. The stadium was packed with people and the beer lines were HUGE. They will get that fixed next week. Was an amazing atmosphere.

I bet the Tulane situation has something to do with 93 degree heat and overwhelming humidity in early September New Orleans...

Yeah just a bit. The big $ donors were all there, just in the A/C mostly. And there were a lot of GA Tech fans - they filled up their section of about 2500, and some were scattered throughout the crowd. From the camera's viewpoint, the visitors' section is on the left in the endzone and the corner on the same side as the press box.
Also as someone said before (so I'm stealing their line), it looked like a field hospital under the stands. People were there fanning themselves and drinking water or just sitting in the shade on the ground. Wait for our night games.

And here is further proof that UConn reports actual butts in the seats, since the dropped from high 30s to low 20s, and the number is precisely at season tickets. In fact, 2,000 opposition fans were actually at the game.

30k (even if it's tickets sold) is pretty good for UH after the UTSA debacle. Perhaps that is our new floor? One can hope.

Tulsa tickets were $90 each seat no matter where you sat. That's $2,641,590.00 revenue for ticket sales alone, not counting concessions and extras. I believe you may have had donations to get season tickets too.

RE: Week 2 Attendance
Temple is on the road next week at UConn. I expect a win over a UConn team that struggled against Stony Brook. Navy is the real deal this year. I think that they can get 10 wins.
The following week Temple will host Delaware State. This should be an easy game for Temple. DSU is a small school but less than two hours from the stadium. Maybe we get another 28k. Temple has got to do something about the box office and the long lines to enter the gates. It was 94 degrees in Philly yesterday. That's 28k dedicated fans that watched the game in the intense heat ...
