RE: Fans in the Stands Week 2
I was watching the FIU game from an online stream and I had never seen the stadium that empty before. Looking at the attendance report, my feelings are confirmed. FIU needs to win if they want any sort of consistent attendance increase. Hopefully hosting Pitt and Louisville the next weeks will give us a bump in attendance regardless of the beat-downs we get.

We should have over 40K next week against NMSU.

I hate when schools do that... That extra $15 per ticket really hurts many people. Seems wrong....

It doesn't seem wrong to me. People should plan and just by season tickets. Then they won't have to deal with a higher single game price. A person could have purchased a season ticket family pack (2 adults & 2 children) for $198 instead of spending $120 on that one game.

at least it's football....

we do it for hoops too.....

it's ALWAYS about the coin.....that's why it was a late game....it was actually good for me since we started at 6.....

it's called business

I don't like it, can't do a thing about it, and if the mood strikes, I just go buy another tv after hurling the remote through the screen when I get commercialized to death...

Our Basketball program does it too. They double the price for the big game!!! Ouch!!!

It is all about the $$$$$$$ to the school. Still hate it....

BTW: What is a good source for attendance? Seems like most internet sports sites don't include it in the box scores....

Many times they have to pay a good bit more for the big name teams.

RE: Fans in the Stands Week 2
I was slightly disappointed with our attendance for the Arizona game even though it was a Thursday night game. Happy with the number of students who showed though.
