Couldn't agree more. It's nice to see a clear picture instead of a fuzzy low resolution internet looking feed.

Some of you would have complained if we was up 120-0.

45-7 120-0 makes no difference. Next year at best we'll have a QB that's thrown about a dozen or less passes in a game. I'm about making sure the team's prepared to play beyond this year. This might be the only game Gunnar gets to throw a pass in.

Somewhat of a slow start with three trips to the red zone with only 3 points to show, and way too many fumbles in bad weather. However, we got our game together and looked good the rest of the way. 700+ yards in offense, holding RI to about 150. All in all, we did what we expected to do.

Way to represent, Marshall! Was surprised to see how empty the stands were though. Was it a lack of interest in whom you were playing?

Weather played into the attendance. It was horrible weather and the game was delayed by half and hour.

Partly the opponent but largely the weather. Game was delayed a half hour due to thunderstorms and then during the game the rain came hard for quite a while. Many stayed home due to weather and many more left early. No excuse, but that's what happened. Couple the weather with a so so opponent and you are left with about 25k in announced attendance.

I was soaked from head to toe. Streets were flooded, cars stalled out everywhere. Then it started pouring yet again after the 1st qtr. One of the worst weather games i can remember and i was proud at how many stayed.

724 yards of total offense, D held them to under 200 or so (didnt look fo certain on that stat).... 3 fumbles lost and several dropped td passes.

Its amazing to think,we can do this and still be disappointed that the team still hasnt played to their potential. This team is going to be unbeatable by mid season. Ohio or Akron better get it done against us or no one does.

Lot of good teams in our conference with a lot of football to play.

I thought the attendance was impressive. Monsoon before the game and there were still 25K+ in the stands. Less after the score was 35-3

Just before the game people were walking down 5th avenue in water up to their knees. Pretty funny.

Same thing on 3rd Ave. Drivers in trucks were stopping and letting groups of people pile in the back to get through the water. There were at least two or three cars parked between ACF and the Kawasaki shop that were submerged up to their windows.

I watched some of the game, switched around to catch a lot of games, on DirecTV here in Wisconsin. I have the sports package and the game was on Comcast SN Bay Area. Usually games are blacked out when out of the area but not last night. Good production and solid win for the Herd. What a rain storm though.

Yup. I waded through water just to get to the game. I'm thinking Marshall looked a little off in the first half because the turf is slick while wet. Hell, it's slick while damp. Not sure if it's the material or because it's new, but it's much slicker than the old turf to walk on. Hopefully that decreases over time, once it's been worn in a bit.
