Losing a player like Miller matters, even at OSU. Barrett clearly isn't ready to play yet. He's looked like the biggest issue to me, other than the kicker (which seems to be an issue for everybody everywhere right now).

Kicking really has been bad all over the country. I bet Ohio state wishes Guiton vas in town still.

Also, kudos to your u of I brethren on a win today. I was actually surprised by their play. Not sure if the turn the corner. In big ten play, but they're ahead of what I thought. I'm also not sure how good of a coach Beckman is though.

I'm not sure what the FG% of kicks is I've seen live, on TV, or heard on radio since the start of the year is but it has to be below 50%.

And thanks. UI is basically going to have to win every game 42-35 or something because the defense still isn't very good, although it held up pretty well today against a WKU offense that had torched BG. Lunt has played well but he's pretty much the only difference maker; the RBs are pretty good but the OL can't run block. I don't think they're any good but the B1G West is terrible and somebody has to win the games, so...

Yeah, once their QB settles in they might ruin a few seasons late in the year. Could still win tonight.

Barrett can't read a defense either, VT is blitzing every play and he can't pick it up.

And his response is just to throw punts, which VT is gleefully accepting.

If he sees it coming, he dodges it nicely. But other than that, nothing.

Wyoming scored late to beat Air Force and Air Force got into range to maaaaybe pull it out but couldn't.

Now you're down to Utep vs Texas Tech if you want a somewhat competitive game.

Currently watching Hawaii vs Oregon State game. Hawaii is usually pretty hard to beat at home.

It tends to be that way on a Sunday afternoon, I'm sure. :)
