I switched over to Akron - St. Penn game on one side of the P in P. Akron might just be the surprise team in the east this season, if not the league. Took Bowden a while, but he has some players now. 7 - 3 St. Penn in the 3rd.

Purdue making chimps look like MAC contenders. Confidence factor big in this one - chimps have it, Purdue looks deflated.

This game is over

Rush > Terrell
CMU Dline >> WMU Dline
CMU DB = WMU DB's
CMU RB > WMU RB's
CMU coaching > WMU coaching

They've been opportunistic, we were reactive. Chimps will finish behind UT, but won't finish in the lower tier of the division.

^this

This game is making me 03-puke

I still can't tell if CMU's defense is as good as it appears with as bad as Purdue has been.

What this game tells me is that our defense will be our biggest problem this year.

Rawls is a stud, CMU is lucky to have him.

Yep. I don't think they're that bad.

Our defense is much worse than I thought. Gave up repeated long gainers and couldn't stop anyone on 3rd down regardless of distance. I don't think CMU's D is that good, I think ours is that bad.

CMU special teams > WMU's

Made the chip shot FG's that Haledman misses, and didn't give up any returns.

Change in rating

CMU DB's > WMU's

We can cover, but we don't make plays.

Etling is terrible. I mean, he couldn't start for most MAC teams. Yet, he completed every 3rd down pass he needed to against us.

Did Rush channel Zach on that one?

Etling out, replacement hits receiver on first play for a TD.

Yeah, we'd never want to change QB's 03-drunk

Even Hazell figured it out.

Recalc

Terrell = Rush

Rush can make a big play now and then, but he can't use his arm to move the ball up and down the field. On the other hand, why even throw it if you can move it on the ground.

Ok, unless CMU just tools it up and turns it over, they're going to run the ball and clock out here.

Thought Fleck was a fast learner?
