well they were pretty bad in football last year too.

USF, UCONN, and Temple were all really pathetic last year. I think Memphis was really bad last year too.

They have about 4 solid programs (UH, ECU, Cinci, UCF) that you can count on most seasons. The others are really no more consistent than what you find in CUSA.

I thought it was funny that an SMU fan would try to talk attendance smack using the 11AM kickoff photos. Even so, that crowd is about 500,000 using the SMU counting methods.

hot there today? Our game was sold over capacity, but the stadium definitely wasn't 100% full and about half the people left by half time because of the heat. Early season games in TX have to be brutal.

Erick Evans, a freshman I've been very impressed with, started his college career off on a high note. He only had one carry today, but took it up the middle, breaking tackles, for a 53 year touchdown. Coach Mac didn't put him back in the game after that carry. I believe freshmen Evans and Wilson will anchor our backfield for the next 4 season.

We now live in a post attendance smack universe. All those who cared were sucked into the black hole of "A", an A-hole if you will.

Why are a number of "fans" fro UTSA like UTSAMarine more interested in attendance that they are the score. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

The 11 AM kick and the horrible heat (i have a bad sunburn while typing this) seemed to keep a lot of people at home. I think half the crowd watched the game under the shaded concourses at some point.

At least you have shade. With no upper levels, our concourses are completely exposed to the sun. Late in the game, there are a few small areas of shade you can hide in, but not much.

Speak for yourself and maybe do some reading before you shoot your mouth off. UTSA fans can root for ya like we root for them, but some are still very interested in attendance.
