You're in luck, though. There is this town to the south that has a few places to wet your whistle.

World of Beer and some Irish pub are south of the campus.

that would be where I am coming from...

There are some on south side of Howard Street, which divides Evanston and Chicago. Also,a Tommy Nevins place is on Chicago Ave. south of Dempster.
