Well the Toppers and the MUTS will both be traveling north to play Illinois and Minnasota, respectively. I do not know much about the other game, but I have a good feeling for our game.

The Illini really struggled for 3 quarters against Youngstown. They claim it was only because they were playing very simplistic offense until the fourth. I'm saying it had more to do with the typical late game fall off associated with the lack of depth at the FCS level.

If we go into this game and put up xbox like numbers for the second week, 2 things will happen. I will be absolutely unbearable until something brings me back to earth, and Doughty should start getting some serious props on a national level.

Both of these games are winnable. I think WKU is the more likely winner, but MT can certainly beat Minnesota as well.

Because you're in a G5 conference. Obviously you can't be better than a P5 school, even if you are.

Minnesota is much better than Illinois. It will be a tough game for us.

Hey I hope WKU and MT both win. So when you guys come to MT we are both undefeated. That would be one hellva fight. One thinks we can win and that just how we like it.

You have my deepest sympathy.

Even Kirk Hirbstreet is on the bandwagon after he made fun of us last season on College Game day as he has labeled WKU an "upset special"..

If WKU wins it won't be an upset. WKU should be the favorite, even if the line favors the Illini the Toppers are MUCH better. Doesn't take a genius to see that.

I wouldn't say much better but apparently started out better. Both are bottom to middle of the pack Big 10 teams. I would love for Middle to go up there and win. If Minnesota wins I hope it is a dog fight.
If the Toppers can eliminate the TO's I expect Illinois will not be able to stop the offense and could win going away. We need all CUSA teams to win OOC games when they are favored or not a major underdog.
