RE: UABSports.com: Blazer Running Back Howard Not Under The Radar Anymore
This surely goes back to our new S&C program, but I did think Howard was a step slow last year. He was big enough to bust through the first level of the opposing defense but couldn't outrun their secondary. That wasn't the case Saturday. He's not a 4.3/40 guy and likely never will be, but he is clearly faster now in open space than he was in 2013.

Tough, strong runner who put on a clinic last week.

Those goal line plays where we took out the QB and pretty much announced we were going to run Howard every down were a thing of beauty.

That said, surely we're setting up a surprise pass play from that formation at some point.

The first one was good, the TD was good. The rest weren't exactly beautiful

Anyone besides me and BlazerDon see the Troy DB pull up on his long run, rather than tangle with him?

It was pretty funny.

I hear you. Not a thing of beauty when it came to execution. Attitude and guts wise, I loved it.
