They don't expect Mac to play the whole game.

I don't think we'll be surprising. We've never really been a surprising offense. Its all about execution.

Exactly. We're not exactly trying to fool people out there.

Suprises are for the weak teams....this team is talented enough to just use their athleticism and speed to execute

I find it funny that they consider MAC more of a pocket passer than Hare. Running it is Maddie, MAC then Hare(not that Hare can't run). Passing is Har, MAC then Maddie (not sure if Maddie can pass yet)

Honestly, Hare looks like he has to throw his whole body into his passes...doesn't seem like he has significantly better arm strength or anything

P.S. Might I suggest we call him Mac....sh*ts gonna get confusing with us being in the MAC and all

I think that assessment tells you precisely how much stock to put into this article.

I also would not be so quick to assume that Hare is a better passer than McIntosh. He throws a prettier ball, but his decisions are questionable.

I think they were judging the QBs literally just off the box score last week lol.

Well, that would be right in line with that podcast that Nendick was on. It was pretty obvious that he hasn't watched too much NIU football since he left. Or if he has, he was as piss-drunk as the rest of us while doing it.

The NU guys just read this board for their prep. They mentioned several things verbatim that we have talked about this week.

The easy part for NU will be knowing what offense NIU will run - everyone knows the style we've played for the last 3 years.

The question is, can NU stop NIU's offense, even if they know what's coming.

I agree. Hare ran the most yet he is probably the least mobile of the three. He did scramble for some nice gains.

I think Mac is fine. Plus, if he does really well, we can run with the whole Mac vs PC thing against opposing teams.

As long as you don't say mick in the bad sense it's all good. Can't be using the derogatory word for our fellow Irishmen. I realize some people use it anyway, Irish culture is that of brashness.

I won't be surprised if the offense is surprising. In fact I'd be more surprised to not see a surprise than I would be surprised to see a surprise.
